The city,
close enough
to walk.

The gardens, the teahouse districts, the market — most of what makes Kanazawa worth visiting is within walking distance from Nomachi and Shiragiku, or one short bus ride away. Horikawa sits closer to the station — see Location for details.

Questions,
answered.

A few things guests usually ask before they arrive. For anything else, send a message.

Q.01
When can we check in and out?
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out by 11:00. Earlier check-in or later check-out can sometimes be arranged — please ask.
Q.02
How does check-in work?
After booking, we ask for two things by Japanese government request: a passport photo for non-Japanese guests, and a brief guest registration form (Google Form). Once we have these, we send the check-in details. A staff member will usually meet you at the villa to confirm your identity in person.
Q.03
Is there a minimum stay?
Yes — two nights minimum at all villas. Longer stays receive direct booking discounts (see below).
Q.04
What languages can the host handle?
The host speaks Japanese only, but uses real-time translation tools to assist guests in any language. Replies typically arrive within the hour.
Q.05
Why book direct, instead of Airbnb?
Direct bookings (Nomachi) are the lowest available rate. Long-stay discounts apply: 10% off for 3+ nights, 15% off for 4+ nights, and 18% off for 7+ nights. These discounts are only available via direct booking. Shiragiku is currently bookable through Airbnb only; Horikawa opens for booking in summer 2026.
Q.06
Is there parking?
Nomachi has free parking 2 minutes on foot from the villa. Shiragiku and Horikawa do not include parking, but coin parking is available 1 minute away — let us know and we'll send the details.
Q.07
Are the houses suitable for young children?
Yes. A high chair is available on request, free of charge. Please mention this when booking.
Q.08
What about long stays and remote work?
All villas have Wi-Fi suitable for video calls. Discounts apply from three nights onward, with the deepest direct-booking discount at seven nights or more.
